2026년 9월 30일, Korea Blockchain Week(KBW) 2026 기간 중 서울 강남 스케줄 청담에서 'Plasma x Seoul: Spend It Like Money'가 열렸습니다.

스테이블코인 전용 Layer 1 블록체인 Plasma가 주최하고, 세계 최대 스테이블코인 USD₮ 발행사 테더(Tether)와 스테이블코인 기반 카드 발행·결제 플랫폼 레인(Rain)이 공동 호스트로, 지갑 인프라 기업 프리비(Privy)와 디지털자산 AI 리서치 툴 서프 AI(Surf AI)가 이벤트 파트너로 참여했습니다.

스테이블코인이 금융의 미래라는 담론을 넘어, 그 변화를 실제로 만들고 있는 팀들을 한자리에 모으는 네트워킹 행사로 기획됐습니다. 해외 송금·트레저리·결제에 스테이블코인 도입을 검토 중인 기업, 관련 분야 투자자, Plasma One 유저, 스테이블코인 인프라·결제·네오뱅크 빌더를 대상으로 했습니다.

이번 행사에서는 Plasma 의 CSO 인 Zaheer Ebtikar, Rain 창업자 Farooq Malik, 테더의 APAC Regional Expansion Lead인 Queenie Le, APAC, 그리고 글로벌 결제 플랫폼으로 유명한 Stripe 의 Crypto GTM hea, Kenny Zhang 이 참여하였습니다

같은 날 오전 여의도에서 진행된 기관 대상 비공개 컨퍼런스 Solana Summit Korea와 달리, 이 행사는 커뮤니티·빌더 중심의 네트워킹 파티로 하루에 2개의 Blockchain event 를 성공적으로 마무리 하였습니다.

On September 30, 2026, during Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) 2026, "Plasma x Seoul: Spend It Like Money" was held at Schedule Cheongdam in Gangnam, Seoul.

The event was hosted by Plasma, the stablecoin-native Layer 1 blockchain, with Tether, the issuer of USD₮, the world's largest and most liquid stablecoin, and Rain, a stablecoin-based card issuance and payment platform, as co-hosts. Privy, a wallet infrastructure company, and Surf AI, a digital asset AI research tool, joined as event partners.

Moving beyond the now-familiar narrative that stablecoins are the future of finance, the event was designed as a networking gathering that brought together the teams actually building that shift. It was aimed at companies exploring stablecoin adoption for cross-border payments, treasury, and settlement, investors in the space, Plasma One users eager to meet the team in person, and builders working on stablecoin infrastructure, payments, and neobanks.

Speakers at the event included Zaheer Ebtikar, CSO of Plasma; Farooq Malik, Founder of Rain; Queenie Le, APAC Regional Expansion Lead at Tether; and Kenny Zhang, Head of Crypto GTM at Stripe, the globally renowned payments platform.

Unlike Solana Summit Korea, an invite-only conference for institutions held that same morning in Yeouido, this event was a community- and builder-focused networking party — together, the two successfully closed out a single day running two blockchain events.
